Blooms in Watercolour
Using flowers fresh from the fields at Nourish Gardens as inspiration, we’ll be exploring the the fundamentals of watercolour painting. You will each pick a flower to study, draw and paint using your newly learnt skills. By the end of the workshop you will have created a beautiful painting of your chosen bloom to take home along with a watercolour set to continue your painting journey.
You will also have an opportunity to walk around the flower fields at Nourish Gardens.
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience who would like a little more expert instruction.
INCLUDES
Tutoring, all materials (you will be able to take your own personal set home with you so you can continue creating), and a delicious morning tea.

Anna Engels: Shade Studio
Anna is a watercolourist, botanical stylist and carer of our natural environment. She began painting at University during her Spatial Design degree. Her practice stems from her deep appreciation and care for New Zealand’s native ecologies and her work aims to prompt conversation and action to care for our environment.
